Lookout Mtn Log Homes is the authorized dealer for Daniel Boone Log Homes in northeast Alabama and northwest Georgia.  Our sales territory includes northeast Alabama and northwest Georgia. We support the old fashioned way of doing business: "Good quality at a fair price."

Our goal is give our customers their dream home. To accomplish this, we offer many different log styles and a variety of standard floor plans, 26 in all. If a standard plan does not meet your needs, then we can modify any of them to suit you. If this still falls short of your needs, then we will assist you to custom design your dream home.

We sell dry in packages. This includes materials for sub flooring, exterior walls, doors and windows, roofing material up to the felt. We also offer many upgrades for outside and inside your home. All of our log packages are dried and inspected to the highest standard and carry a life-time warranty. This will assure you that your dream home will be passed on to future generations. Daniel Boone Log Homes has the windows custom manufactured by MW and Pella. The standard package is Eastern white pine, although other types of logs can be obtained.

Lookout Mtn Log Homes builds our business on excellent customer service and competitive prices. From the time we first have contact with you until the day your log home is complete, we are in constant communication with you. We are not builders or contractors but you will find us on the job site on a regular basis to watch the work being done and to answer questions and assist in any way possible.

We sell the dry in package. We do not build the log home but we will provide you with a list of builders who have years of experience building Daniel Boone Log Home packages to complete dry in. Then we assist in finding local contractors who will put the finishing touches on your dream home. We can assist you to find local contractors who will do a "lock and key" job for you. A lot of customers are "do-it-yourself" types and we provide a comprehensive construction manual to assist in assembling the log home package.

If you are a customer who is building in the Mentone area of Alabama or close by but you live elsewhere, we provide you with at least two stays at our vacation rental, The Last Resort. The Last Resort is located on Lookout Mountain Parkway, on the west brow of Lookout Mountain, approximately five miles south of Mentone, AL.
